About Me.
I grew up playing every sport put in front of me. As a child, I thrived on feeling the thrill of competition and facing the challenge of learning how to top my best performances. Luckily, I had parents who indulged my interests. I was taught to not be out-worked. Unfortunately, this mantra caught up to me late in high school and into my career as a Division I college athlete. Under-nourished and over trained, my body broke down. My iron levels and weight tanked to a dangerously low level and I had an avulsion fracture in my pelvis.
During my time injured, alternative care, yoga and weekly massages became my pathway to a comeback that I was told wasn't going to be possible.
I returned with a more balanced training regimen, and earned all-SEC honors in Cross Country.

I went on to earn a BSed in Health Promotion and Education as well as a MA in Sport Studies Research from the University of Georgia. After working a year in the corporate world, I returned to school and studied Integrative Massage at the Atlanta School of Massage.
I haven't looked back. I love my career. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Neuromuscular and deep tissue massage for the last 17 years. Recently, I had the great privilege to be introduced to Myofascial Therapy and study with the man who developed this unbelieveably effective modality, John F. Barnes, PT.
I am now exclusively practicing John F. Barnes Myofascial Release and SPIRITUS Breathwork.
I work closely with several mental health professionals in the area to offer a "bottom-up" approach to therapy for their clients. Partnering the somatic and spiritual piece with the cognitive has proven to be very effective and beneficial for our clients. These cannot be separate or uniquely treated to achieve fully integrative healing.
I also get clients looking for the illusive connection. The missing piece, the lack of connection and those that just want to expand into a greater more vibrant and aligned life. Studying with Tim Morrison, the founder of SPIRITUS Breathwork has been a great honor.
I live and work in Prosper with my three children, two lizards, a Guinea pig and our mini-Schnauzer, Nelly.
