What a difference a year makes.

Resilience Healing Arts professional workspace environment

A quick update from me to you...

It’s hard to believe it has been over a year since I moved Resilience Healing Arts from my home office to Frisco Counseling and Wellness.

Since then, life has taken me through a lot of changes! I graduated with my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, began practicing as an LPC-Associate, continued growing my MFR practice, and am now beginning the process of looking for a new home for myself and the kids.

It has been a big year.

A blessed, full year.

One of those seasons where you look back and realize how much can change without necessarily noticing it day to day.

In the middle of it all, I found myself thinking about the people who have been part of my personal and professional journey over the years.

You’re one of them.

So I thought I’d say hello.

Some of you will soon have college athletes returning home. Some of my clients are right in the middle of demanding training seasons. Most of us are navigating busy careers, growing kids, changing family dynamics, travel, or simply the pace that seems to pick up as the holidays approach.

Life has a way of shifting our stress levels without asking permission.

And our bodies notice.

Sometimes it’s the familiar tight shoulder or achy back. Sometimes it’s restless sleep, shallow breathing, feeling wired, or realizing you haven't really slowed down in months.

And sometimes nothing feels particularly “wrong.” You just don't feel quite like yourself.

How much of your energy is spent managing the adaptations that have helped you survive, and how much is available for living, connecting, and expanding?

That has always been one of the things I appreciate most about MFR. It gives us a place to pause long enough to notice what our bodies have been carrying.

What if it could be that simple? What if moving the baseline of what we believe is the "norm" is as easy as relieving the pressure on vital structures bridging the physical with the quantum?

Perhaps creating space for the body's vital structures and systems isn't about fixing what is broken. It is about giving the system an opportunity to stop working against itself -  making more energy available for what comes next.

An invitation

If our paths haven't crossed in a while, I hope you're doing well. And if they do cross again at some point, I'd love to see you.

I also made one change for the people who have been part of my practice over the years: longtime RHA clients are now grandfathered at $200 for a 45-minute session.

The MFR practice has grown and changed, but the part I value most hasn't changed at all... YOU!

I hope this season finds you well.

Take care,

Julie Ray, MA, MEd., LMT, LPC-A
